The temperatures are dropping which means that the upkeep needs of your vehicle are starting to change. One thing that many people don't realize is that with these lower temperatures, it is actually very important to keep your gas tank fuller throughout the winter.
When your tank is low on gas, there is then more room in the tank for air. And with these low temperatures overnight, that increases the chances for condensation build up in there. The condensation can drip down and eventually reach the fuel lines and can potentially freeze there, which is a problem that you don't want to have to deal with, especially since it is so preventable.
If you have concerns about this or any other winter-related automotive issue, then please feel free to contact the experts in our service department here at Janssen Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM. We are always happy to help.
